About Longmoor

Longmoor is a mid-Victorian terraced house set only a few minutes’ walk from Tenby’s glorious South Beach. Renovated throughout yet retaining its original character, it is comfortably and stylishly furnished. The lounge with laminate flooring arches through to the dining room to the rear, while the galley-style, fitted kitchen leads out with steps up to the delightful, newly renovated, enclosed, walled Mediterranean-style raised paved terrace, a perfect sheltered sun trap where you can dine alfresco on a summer’s evening after a day spent on the beach or exploring all that Tenby has to offer right on your doorstep.

Stairs from the hall takes you to the welcoming bedrooms above.

Conveniently situated in a quiet residential street outside the walls of this medieval town, all its pubs, shops and restaurants are only a few minutes’ walk away. Enjoy wandering Tenby’s cobbled streets and picture postcard harbour, take a fishing trip or visit Caldey Island, the home of the Cistercian Monks, a unique experience. There are 4 stunning beaches with longer stretches of sand to enjoy, South Beach being the closest with its beachside restaurant and cafe; participate in one of the many water sports on offer.

Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this wonderful coastline taking in the seaside villages close by, Manorbier, Lydstep, Saundersfoot and Amroth. There are a choice of family attractions to visit including Manor House Wildlife Park, Folly Farm, Heatherton Activity Park and Oakwood Theme Park, while for keen golfers there are a choice of courses to try, Tenby Golf Club and Trefloyne Manor are both nearby.

A delightful holiday home whatever the season that is sure to become a firm favourite.

Access Statement

This Access Statement has been prepared by the owner for your information; it is the most recent version that we have received. This statement has been prepared as objectively as possible, however with such a wide remit oversights may be made.

Please ensure all crucial requirements for a safe and enjoyable holiday are present so if you have any queries whatsoever, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01437 767600.

The cottage is approached via an A-road. Parking in this area is roadside, and mostly permit holders only. If no spaces are available, there is a public car park at South Cliff. The cottage is accessed from the pavement. There is a step to the front door into a small porch. The hallway leads off to the left to the sitting area and then the dining area. Ahead is the kitchen. The narrow kitchen has low and high level cupboards and an electric low level oven with hob. The sitting and dining areas have laminate flooring. The TV and audio equipment is operated by remote control. The first floor accommodation is accessed by a narrow staircase (with wooden handrail.) At the top of this staircase is the shower room. There is a large walk in shower with vinyl flooring. Please take care as the floor may be slippery when wet. The bedrooms are accessed from the landing (via a couple more stairs.) The front bedroom windows open at eye level. However, the rear bedroom window opens at a low level. Children should be supervised whilst in this rear bedroom for their own safety to prevent their access to this window. Access to the garden is through a door from the kitchen. This leads to an enclosed patio garden on different levels connected by stone steps. The upper patio has a garden table and chairs, whilst the lower area has an external tap and short hose for washing down sandy people and dogs. Care must be taken within the garden; the stone steps do not have a handrail and the raised patio area does have a drop to the lower area (though this is separated by wooden railings.) Young children should be supervised for their own safety please.
